The performance indica­tors of SNSPD have repeatedly chalked up world records in terms of System Detection Efficiency (SDE), Dark Count Rate (DCR), and Maximum Counting Rate (MCR). So far, the significant achievements include the SDE above 98% of the SNSPD system at the wavelength of 1550nm, and the DCR as low as 1 cps at SDE > 90%.
