SDO offers aspherical elements using Satisloh optical grinding and polishing machine SPM-125/200 and SPS-125/200 which covers a wide workpiece range from 10–200 Ø in mm. We also acquired the QED MRF Q-flex 300 which deliver unprecedented manufacturing capabilities especially for difficult spheres, aspheres, and prisms. With the MRF, the irregularity can be as low as λ/10-λ/15 (PV) or lower, limited by metrology. And the surface roughness obtained typically <=5Å , results depend on substrate material and MR fluid used.
