The precision optics manufacturing and testing center, Shanghai Institute Of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences(SIOM,CAS)mainly researches on precision processing technology of full spectrum and high loss resistance laser optical elements, high precision manufacturing technology of complex optical curved surface, advanced material and special processing technology, optical design,processing theory and simulation,and ultra-precision testing technology. The laboratory is formed of 44 academics and technicians,,including 32 with master's degree and 8 with doctor's degree.
